"It's time now, to sing out, though the story never ends" When you start a diary as a place to vent your bad feelings or wonder about random things, sometimes you forget to post the good stuff there. So, this is my way to give a public shout-out to those who heaped love on me for my birthday yesterday (and, incase you're wondering, I'm 29 with 6 years experience now): To everyone who sent e-cards and snail mail cards, thank you. I love getting cards! Aubrey, loved the Yahoo messenger status. I grinned ear-to-ear when I logged on after work. My Scrapbooking Friends, your birthday wishes were very much appreciated. Playgroup, thanks for all of the birthday emails and, if you're reading this, then I'm about to spill the beans on my present from Ryan. My playgroup Secret Sister, thank you for both cards yesterday! Your wishes are very appreciated! Family, thanks for all the phone calls. I can't wait for the big birthday dinner next week. Stacey, love the bracelet. You are very talented my dear (but I already knew that). Kim, getting to talk to you on the phone is a treat I don't have often enough. We need to remedy that! Bailey and Jared, I can't wait to cuddle with you and watch season 4 of Friends. All of your birthday hugs and kisses were the best! Ryan, ummmm...where to begin??? The autographed Civilian CD rocks. Dinner was excellent. Family time was almost-perfect... Of couse, the DIAMOND EARRINGS are exquisite! I had to show them off all day today. Lisa, my best friend (who gave me quite a birthday scare)...you know exactly how to couple the perfect with the perfectly insane. That little wish pillow is gorgeous. Ms. Pacman, of course, you knew was something I've wanted for a while. The Rent cow ("Moo with me!") is sitting right here, next to the students' in-basket, with the Wicked monkey giving her a hug. Candles, just so that I'll have them incase I ever need to ask the phrase, "Will you light my candle?" made me laugh so hard. And, of course, the Roger cd cover--I knew I could count on you. I did get a giggle out of all the bubble-wrap, too, and was tempted to order iced tea with dinner...just to stir, obviously. past | future0 comments Listening to: Reading: Eating/drinking: Do what to me?!? - April 24, 2007 Wicked funny websearch - April 05, 2007 Trot out the dogs 'n ponies - March 31, 2007 Almost done... - March 20, 2007 Who am I? - March 12, 2007 READ ME |
