Back from the black hole they call WORK

Two weeks?!?!?!?
Gosh, you'd think I'd gotten myself busy working or something.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
*sigh*
I am a bit envious of the schools where teachers only teach 5 periods. And, gee, I think I know exactly which class I'd give away if I could....
Actually, all joking aside, things are going well at work. Here's my "grade sheet":
Administration: A+ I even got an email telling me that I rock! hee hee
Grades: D- I have a big pile to grade. I have a big pile of graded stuff to enter into my paper gradebook. I have nothing entered into my computerized grade book yet. Progress Reports/Deficiency notices are approaching very quickly! Guess what I'll be doing next week during every single prep period? But see, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. When my lessons are in place, and I have my planning done a few weeks ahead, I suddenly have the time to grade papers on my prep instead of prepping the next day's lesson. So, it's coming. Slowly, but I'm getting there.
Life Science; B+ and rising I am finally a tiny bit ahead and think that I may actually be able to stay ahead.
Physical Science: C+ I'm doing OK, my lessons are fine and the kids are learning relevant information, but I'm not ahead yet. So, this is one of those grades that can soar up or plummet quickly. I have listed a ton of activities that go with the Forces & Motion unit that we're running for the next 6 weeks. I'd really like to turn that list into an official plan. Hopefully I'll take care of that by Monday.
Volunteers: A+ We have a parent who has started cleaning out or science storage room for us. Awesome! And, those parents who do the photocopying...I'd be lost without them. They are my incentive to get myself ahead in my planning. See, with at least 3 days notice, they'll do all of our copying for us!
