...and is she sharing?!? I kid you not, my principal has got to be on some hallucinogenic. That is the only possible explanation for most of the stuff she does.
Both my contract and CA Education Code state that evaluations need to be done before 30 days before the end of the school year. This is so that employees have the oportunity to respond in writing to anything they don't agree with. School ends in 15 days. I sent the following email to my principal 3 days ago, and copied our Superintendent and our Asst. Superintendent of HR on it:
This is the reply I got:
Damn straight you take full responsibility. It's not my fault you didn't do your job!
Then, the very next day, she went to a School Site Council meeting and announced that the budget for next year, which the council had already voted on and approved, wasn't going to work for her. She was going to change it. When a parent on the council said that she can't do that without their vote, she told him, "I believe I can."
You believe wrong, lady! She really needs to read the Ed Code. It is stated quite clearly that the principal and council work together. It's all about checks and balances. She is not supreme sole authority about how our funds are spent.
And she's the one running this school. *shakes head* Fucking unreal!past | future
